Peter J. Cavanagh, age 69, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, December 8, 2024. Peter Cavanagh was born June 10, 1955, in Brooklyn, New York. He is the son of the late Thomas and the late Dorothea (Broderick) Cavanagh. Beloved husband of Catherine O’Brien – Cavanagh. Loving father of Elizabeth Loomis (Rick), Christopher Cavanagh, Nicole Guerrero (Dennis) and step-daughter Kristen McLoud (Patrick). Cherished grandfather of Emily, Jillian, Olivia, Elliott, Alexander, Edward, Dennis, Charlotte and Kayla. Dear brother of Thomas Cavanagh (Norina), James Cavanagh (Debra), Michael Cavanagh (Lisa) and the late Donna Keegan. Beloved uncle and adored Cousin.

Peter's life was a testament to the power of love, family, and friendship. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

Mass of Christian burial will be held 11:00 AM on Friday, December 13 at Good Shepherd R.C. Church, 1950 Batchelder Street, Brooklyn.

Burial to follow at St. John's Cemetery, Middle Village, Queens.
