Dear Tommy and Michael,
I am so sorry for the loss of your mother. She was a wonderful, caring person. Years ago I would often see her walking to stores with Tommy and would always say hello. She is in heaven now reunited with your Dad. God Bless you Tommy & Michael. God welcomed your mother, Margaret, into his kingdom where she will live forever.

Dear Mom,
I know it was quite a trial and tribulation to have to endure 7 hospital stays and 3 nursing home stays all in the period going back to early last March. Despite the overwhelming sadness of your passing away there is the gratification in that you fought the "good fight" and that you were aligned in that good fight with myself, Tommy and countless other family, friends, home care aides and medical staff whether it be through kind words, prayers, thoughts, visitations and providence of medical care. Words cannot express how sad Tommy and I are that you have passed away. Words also cannot articulate how wonderful of a mother and human being you were. Each moment you are in are thoughts and in our hearts. You were such a devoted and selfless mother to Tommy in always providing love and care to Tommy with autism which of course was quite a cross to bear and you never complained. Your patience and understanding of Tommy with his special needs was simply stellar. Your love for Tommy and I was unsurpassed. I don't know if it is even possible to love you in return equal to the amount of love you gave to us. You were such a loving wife to our beloved deceased Dad and as of last Sunday when you passed you were no longer a widow but you were reunited with Dad in Our Lord's kingdom of Heaven in the name of Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ and you Holy Matrimonial vow you took with Dad on the 8th of April 1961 will last into perpetuity in God's kingdom and as well you are reunited with Rusty and Pumpkin. Thanks to you and Dad for having ensured that our safety, well-being and needs were always met and for the home you provided for us. Thank you for ensuring that Tommy still obtained his special needs student education in our public school system amongst his peers and obtained his Certificate. Thank you for ensuring the best for me during my school days through 4 different educational institutions right through college graduation. Thank you for those days in the 1970s of bringing Tommy and I to our doctor's appointments, our walks to Flatbush Avenue to the 5 and Dime store and Apollo Pizzeria. Thank for holding a table for us during lunch from PS 222 at a very crowded Quentin Pizzeria. Thanks for the devoted care you provided for Dad during his health issues during his lifetime. Thank you for the love, the laughs, the joy, sharing in the occasional moments of sorrow and uncertainty...but most of all thank you for being Mom. Everyone has the greatest Mom and you were our greatest Mom.
You believed on the Lord Jesus Christ and His word and now God has claimed you. Thank you for being the incredible mother, wife, sister, aunt, etc. that you were to our extended family. I just simply say with all my heart that I will always miss you Mom and it hurts as I compile these words...but our pain is for but a flicker in the scheme of things as the Lord shall provide for us when we believeth unto Him. Rest in peace our beloved Mom Margaret Patricia Brogan. Our love shall never cease. Until the day in the hopeful distant future when the Lord calls us we remain.
