Mr and Mrs Reed were a fixture in my childhood and were always so incredibly kind to my family. My mother and Mrs Reed were very close. And as for Mr Reed - well, he always had a smile for his “favorite girl on 43rd” (clearly it couldn’t have been Troy!). Though it has been years since I have seen Mr Reed, i have been fortunate enough to keep up with things through Mary Ellen. His love for his family, friends, and life never seemed to have wavered.
