My sister Angie, was honest, fun, always there to help if you needed her Angie loved to cook. She made her own gravy for Sunday dinner. She would never use jar sauce. Angie loved her Sunday meal. Veal cutlet parmigiana and Raviolis and of course her Expresso. Had to have her Expresso. On Friday it would be a call to Table 87 for her pizza. Everyone loved Angie’s Eggplant Parmigiana. She would always make extra to share. She would make sure they had Italian bread for it. Angie was a very given person. i miss talking to Angie about our “soap oper story” We had so.much fun when she came to visit. Of course she had to shopping list with her so she kept me busy. Christmas will be sad without her. She loved helping us decorate the tree.
We all miss her very much. But she has left us with so many beautiful memories. Miss you and love you, Joanie.

Angie loved her serials. We called her our Queen Of The South. Somehow she knew what episodes were coming next. Like her family before her, she could put out a feast from a limited space. She kept her best recipes. She loved Manhattan. Her memories of trips to the city were amazing, remembering all the places, names and dates going back to her teens. She loved all of it as she loved all of us. Many times she relived it through her music lists, her oldies choices were legend. With cousins like this, who could go wrong? Angie was a great sister to me. She was respectful, thoughtful and kind. She loved sending birthday cards to all with scratch tickets in them. She made sure they were always on time. Angie, I will miss your morning calls and our visits when we would chat with jelly donuts and coffee. She loved to watch Hallmark movies, especially Christmas in July ones. She even kept a list of which ones she wanted to watch. I think that was her best holiday because she knew I would be making Struffoli that she loved to dunk in her coffee. She always got a extra batch. Angie loved playing her oldies very loud, from Elvis to disco. Angie I will miss you very much but I know we will be together again. Rest In Peace with Mommy and Daddy. I love you.

I have known Angie for many years. A memory I have is three of us going to Brighton Beach together when we were very young. I was the youngest and Angie was very protective. My stomach would hurt from laughing so much. If you could, imagine guys hitting on three girls and Angie‘s response. Angie was so very funny and very witty and so quick with her reply. I don’t know if she even realized how funny she was.
Angie was a very giving and kind person to all those that she came in contact with. She will be missed.

As you would say it’s a scorcherer out there today. You should be heading to the beach even though you don’t like sand and don’t like water. You were always up for an adventure whether it be a midnight showing of Saturday Night Fever or a trip to Mulberry St for lunch. Your door was always open, 2 pm or 2 am. You were always the first to call for everyones birthdays. You made us all smile and laugh.
You will be missed more then you know.

Aunt Angie was the best Godmother & Aunt anyone could ask for. She always made everyone laugh. She loved her music….the louder the better! She had some crazy dance moves. She was a tv junkie just like me, from Hallmark to Law & Order. She even managed to get a cameo in FBI: Most Wanted. Aunt Angie loved the holidays. She never let me forget when Thanksgiving was. She would call me a month before to make sure I picked up the turkey. The holidays will never be the same without her. Aunt Angie was a kind, wonderful, and loving person. She will forever be in my heart.

I'm not sure where to begin to share the weight of the loss of our dear friend and neighbor. She was absolutely one of a kind - a friend who always had my back, and never hesitated to welcome me and my family and friends to her festive dinners, dance parties and for morning coffee every day before work. I was lucky enough to live in the apartment below her for 5 years - but we kept in close contact for years afterwards. I will never forget her and always celebrate her spirit of fun and joy for life. Heaven must have been missing an angel.
