Seeing such a brother, a father, counselor taking a nap among the deaths reminds us how much of an enemy is ‘Death’. At the very moment I am writing this, I could still hear koffi’s voice, advices, jokes resounding in my ear. Can’t wait to welcome him in the paradise. In the meanwhile, my deepest condolences to the the nearest relatives!

Oh may Jehovah remember his promise to annihilate death forever and bring back to us our dearly departed! Raymond was one of Jehovah's valiant servants who enlightened our childhood through his zeal for pure worship. With him we got a taste for hymns and with him I sang the Tenor. Very dynamic, even his silence is eloquent and bubbling with zeal. Hum Babade to his wife, his children without forgetting his mother, his brothers and sisters and to all of us community of brothers and sisters having known him. the appointment of the resurrection is for soon. Hay jehovah the God of all comfort sustain us.
Amen

There's sadness in our hearts without you. Grief will occur when someone mentions your name, and we will groan deep inside. You may be gone, but you will never be forgotten. A song we hear will stir up fond memories of you singing.
I can see just over the horizon, beckoning to come, and see what's in store here in the new Earth - "Paradise".
You came and made a lasting impression, an indelible mark on my life, one that's worthy of imitation. You had such a love for people, you have shown such compassion for anyone who's sick, but what stood out most of all was your love for Jehovah.
You will be truly missed. Love Sister Hylton.

My family and I (LeeAnne) would like to express our deepest sympathy to the family of Brother Gnagniko. I have many fond memories of Raymond. He has helped me and my family many times. He was there for us when my dad passed. A few years later, we were both dealing with a health crises at the same time and were being treated every day for a few weeks at the same facility; even our appointments were around the same time of day! So, almost every day I was able to see him there and we would sit together and talk till one of us was called for treatment. One time he expressed his desire to visit his home country after he finished his treatments. But that couldn't happen because Covid then came around. I really cherish those moments when we would talk. I miss him very much and his wonderful family is always in my heart and prayers. I know when Jehovah brings him back then he will be able to visit his home country again, with his family and I'm sure with quite a few friends. I look forward to seeing him again. Till then, may Jehovah comfort and strengthen all of us but especially Raymond's dear family.
With all our deepest love,
The Prestininzi Family

To the Gnagniko family,
Raymond was certainly a very dynamic brother. My first memory of Raymond was his very unique singing as it stood out above the rest of the friends. And those big brotherly hugs he would always give.
Raymond's love, zeal, and enthusiasm for the truth was contagious. :-) He will be dearly missed...until we see him again in the new world soon to come.
May Jehovah continue to give your family the comfort, love, and endurance needed during this sorrowful time.
Agapé and philía love.
You're brother,

I remember when the Gnagniko's started attending Flatbush Cong and the thing that stood out about Raymond was how serious he took serving Jehovah. He sang with all his might and his comments were so upbuilding. Going out in service with him was always a treat. There was no time to waste, and he approached the ministry in the way that we all should, knowing that we are saving lives. He never cancceled if he had a part or was suppose to be out in the ministry. I loved his zealous attitude wihen it came to every aspect of his worship, and this included cleaning the Kingdom Hall after the meeting. He will surely be missed and I am looking forward to welcoming him and hearing that booming voice and smiling face.

I live on Ecuador and attend the Flatbush English cong. from time to time. I always enjoyed hearing bro. Koffi's comments and looked forward to seeing he and sis. Tina and waving to say hello after the meeting. It is like one of our original songs "even though I never met you, I love you". Thanks to Jehovah the pain of death will be temporary and soon our dear bro. Koffi will awaken in paradise, the grand reward for his faithfulness and endurance. May Jehovah comfort and sustain you in this very difficult time. Warm christian love

My dear brother, oh how I miss having you around to talk to, you had a way of communicating in spite of your deep accent, I always felt the your concern and comfort, you truly gave from your heart, your life was all about looking out for Jehovah's flock, you genuinely wanted all to get on, and stay on the road to life. You was always approachable, easy to talk to, always ready and willing to lend a hand in any way you can, big or small, even if it was just to cause someone to smile. Even when we didn't agree we could still communicate, it was impossible to feel anything but appreciation, deep respect and love for you, because you served with your whole heart, best intentions, with empathy and kindness. Even from your sick bed you were still thinking of others and did your best to the end. I am grateful to have had the pleasure of knowing you, and I certainly will never forget you.
Your departure has left a void, and you are greatly missed, hope I am granted the privilege to see you again in paradise.
MY DEEPEST CONDOLENCES TO YOUR FAMILY FOR THEIR GREAT LOSS...

Our dearest family Gnagniko: We sympathize from our heart at the sad loss of your dear Raymond. We had so much together with Raymond and most of you, at the book study in the family home in Lomé, in the Djidjole congregation, at assemblies and conventions. We all remember his spontaneous enthusiasm and willingness to help and support. He will be sorely missed in the Gnagniko family, especially by his faithful wife Tina, and by the children, Shalom, Marie-Madeleine and Mardochee, and by his loving mother, Josephine, and his siblings, and us, all his friends.
We like very much the following words from Isaiah; so comforting and triumphant:
“Your dead will live. My corpses will rise up. Awake and shout joyfully, You residents in the dust! For your dew is as the dew of the morning, And the earth will let those powerless in death come to life.
“In that day they will say: “Look! This is our God! We have hoped in him, And he will save us. This is Jehovah! We have hoped in him. Let us be joyful and rejoice in the salvation by him.” - Is 26:19; 25:9.
With these few words we embrace you all with love and tears.
