Hi Nana. I really miss you. Not much has happened since you passed away. The presidential elections happened, although you probably won't want the details, as politics can be boring. Corona is still going pretty strong, but you might not want to hear that either.
I miss you so much...
I love you ♡

From your Boston Family,
It is with heavy heart I write this remembrance. On behalf of the Rosa family, we will miss you and remember you fondly as our favorite Brooklyn cousin. You held a special place in my father's heart and I remember vividly you sitting by his bedside at his passing so many years ago. And I will never forget your traveling to New England just a few months ago to celebrate my birthday. What a joy it was to see you there along with Mary Linda, Carmelisa and Louie. And you did the same ten years earlier. You're a girl who can't turn down a good time.
You will be missed.
Love Michael & Eneida Rosa

Aunt Agatha was a very loving person who had a genuine love and concern for all her family members and I'm quite sure for all her friends as well. She will be greatly missed by each and everyone. When she crossed over into the loving presence of Uncle Tommy and all the others that were part of her life she would easily be recognized not in body but as a eternal loving soul which is timeless. God bless Aunt Agatha. Love Joe, Jyoti and family.

Fond memories from my childhood when we spent Christmas Eve’s at Aunt Agatha and Uncle Tommy’s home drinking egg nog and eating Grandma’s Fruitti di Mare. Aunt Agatha was smart, sassy, and a very proud woman. Although she was loved and will be missed, we can all take consolation knowing that she and Uncle Tommy will be together forever.

For Maria and Carmela......Today I honor the passing of your mom. When I first met your mom I was 15 years old.....and she graciously accepted me into your family. I saw her great smile and felt her kindness. And she was very perceptive. She knew I was wild and she still took me in. At that time she was your mother....watching over you and giving you guidance......But at one point down the road she became your friend. Her happiness was abundant because of you Carmela and you Maria . I will pray all the Hail Marys and wish you both all the angels in all the heavens to get you through this difficult time. Now she is in total peace and bliss with God. And there is a new Star in all of the skies shining upon you both. Maria and Carmella.....I wish you all the peace and love that I have to give.

I wanted to add this to the obituary. But know how much her cousin Gena loved and thought of her. Even in my moms last few years when she could recognize her grand and great grandkids, even though not by name, there were so many days she would ask about Dada. When you would post pictures of her my mom would immediately recognize her and with her beautiful smile say “ Dada looks great!”. We all have memories of years gone by of going to New York and visiting and of course eating like there was no tomorrow. All our love and prayers to the entire family. Maria Fina Vourlides, Carmela Fina Aiese, you done good

I so fondly remember growing up on 80th St with Carmelisa and Mary Linda.....always remember Aggie calling each of her girls by these names....I experienced many happy times on the front stoop and up on the porch having Italian Ices with all the Fina Family in the summer and my first taste of rum eggnog in their living room at Christmas time. Aggie was a member of the Best Moms Club on our block....Aggie was always so welcoming and caring to each of us kids all throughout those years....and I so enjoyed engaging in great conversations with her at our wonderful STBS Reunions.
God Bless Aggie with Joy in being reunited with her husband and son along with all her Family in Heaven.
Carmel and Maria my heart is with you today as you accompany your Beautiful Mom to her resting place.
Peace, Love & Hugs, Susan

I laughed and cried when I read Aunt Agatha's obituary - it was the absolute utter essence of her. And it is true, Grandma did all the cooking lol! Aunt Agatha, told you how it was and no, you didn't always like it and you didn't always ask for it but it was the right advice. Aunt Agatha was fiercely loyal when it came to her family and loved her brothers deeply but she was not afraid to chastise my father, her older brother, when he needed it.
Aunt Agatha and Uncle Tommy provided me and my sister with a safe place when our parents split up and the acrimony between them was unbearable. Her lovely, stable, secure home was a haven for me. Of course I wasn't thrilled about being sent to Brooklyn during the weekend of Woodstock to stop me running off there with my friends!
As I became interested in exploring our family history Aunt Agatha was a fount of information and brilliant stories - and she had a memory as sharp as a steel trap! She was incredibly interested in all the old documents, birth certificates and death certificates that I found, some going back 300 years. Unlike most people, her eyes didn't glaze over when I brought out my trees and documents! She really was interested and a very valuable contributor. I will so very much miss sharing my passion with her.
I shall miss her deeply and only hope that I can be half the woman she was.

Whether you called her Aggie, "Thumbefina, " or grandma, this is a dynamo of a person who will be missed by all. Aggie gave me so much and truly showed me what unconditional love looks like-even when I got frustrated with her. She taught me to ask for what I want, appreciate a good takeout menu, and wear a scarf like no other.
My grandma was present for every milestone from the most mundane to the most important. My favorite memory was Christmas a few years ago when she presented each grandchild with a gift box full of memorabilia such as programs from our kindergarten graduations, artwork from our elementary school years, and ticket stubs from our school plays. This woman's love for her family, though not always conventionally expressed, was incomparable.
My grandmother was inquisitive beyond belief - she also taught me to never be afraid of asking a question. Another memory I have is a drive from Bensonhurst to Bay Ridge (15 minutes maximum). We were taking Aggie home from dinner and I thought "hmm. I'm going to count how many questions she asks during this drive." In those 15 minutes she managed to ask 127 questions.
I'm so devastated she won't be able to see me and Pedro get married. I know she would have loved seeing me in my wedding gown (this woman appreciated nothing more than a well-made garment) and I can picture her clapping during the ceremony with her tiny, crooked hands. I'm incredibly grateful that our last hang-out was when I went to her apartment to tell her that we got engaged and she was able to see the ring. True to character, she asked me about every detail of the proposal, where the ring was from, where did he propose, and some questions I didn't even have answers to.
I'll miss my grandma tons. Love you, Aggie.

To the one and only Agster...
You were one of a kind -- tiny in body, huge in spirit! Whenever I wear leopard print, you come to mind! Whenever grits are ordered - NOT Farina - you come to mind! Whenever a thermostat needs adjusting to 71.5 degrees - you come to mind! So many memories over the past 25 years!
I know that you are with your beloved Tommy now but we left here on earth will miss you terribly.
