I grew up in SVF and my mom, Teresa King, was very friendly with your mom. I hadn’t seen your mom since 1981 when my mom passed away. A few years ago I saw your mom at Mass at SFDS and couldn’t figure out why she looked familiar until I saw her smile and knew instantly that she was Marge Ahern. We had a very nice conversation and it reminded me of why my mom had liked her so much. She was lovely and I know you know how lucky your family was to have had her with you for so long.
May she Rest In Peace

I consider myself blessed to have met Marge through my deep friendship with her daughter Janet. Her presence at the 10am Folk Mass each Sunday, in the Little Church of St. Thomas Aquinas, gave me ample opportunity to enjoy her friendship, vitality for life and her ever present smile. She had a contagious, happy, positive personality and you couldn't help but be drawn in to a conversation with her that would leave you feeling uplifted.
I will be ever grateful to have met Marge but even more grateful for the gift of her daughter Janet, who continues Marge's legacy of adding light to the life of anyone she meets, including my own.
Rest in Peace, dear Marge - a life so well lived.

Marge was the most vibrant woman and full of life. She always had a smile on her face and a kind word to say.
She will be missed by so many near and far.

I grew up on Avenue I in SVF parish across the street from the Ahearn family. Marge bought girl scout cookies and chances from me. Always a big smile on her face. She called me Gorgeous Janet. Sending my love to her family. Watching Easter Mass from St Francis De. Sales is how I learned of her passing. May she rest in peace.
With love and prayers
