I cannot remember a time, while growing up on east 59th street that both Rosemary and John were not a tremendous part of, I think of John now and one of the first memories that comes to mind is John singing to me "all i want for Christmas is my two front teeth", he truly was a larger than life kind of man and i will remember him with a beautiful smile and a warm heart ....I'm sure he and my dad will take up right where they left off, discussing the worlds problems and my dad playing the accordion as they do it !!! Rest Peacefully .....

We lived at 1249 East 59th and John and Rosemary were next door at 1249A - there was no important (or even unimportant) event in our lives that they were not part of...
My father Bob and John spent most summer nights - side by side, each on their own porch - solving the world's problems. John was larger than life with a heart of gold. He will be much missed by many.

How many wonderful funny memories I have of family events with John. That wry smile! May the love of family and friends wrap you in comfort in the difficult days to come.
