Obituary of Kathryn E. O'Brien

O’BRIEN—Kathryn E., passed away peacefully at her home in Brooklyn, N.Y. on Dec. 10th, 2013 at the age of 93. She is survived by her four children, Dick, Tom, Mary and John, whom she raised with her now-deceased husband Charles, her daughter-in-law Elaine, her six grandchildren, J.C., Elyse, Zachary, C.J., Richard and Michael, her four great grandchildren, Samantha, Veronica, Natalia and Cynthia, and many nieces and nephews. She was a devout Catholic all her life and an active parishioner at Good Shepherd Church in Marine Park. She worked as a travel agent for several decades; among her travels she visited Ireland 10 times. She treasured her family and her friends. She enriched their lives with her generosity, her humor, and her loving spirit.
