I would rather have one little rose from the garden of my family than to have the choicest flowers when my stay on earth must end.

I would rather have one pleasant word in kindness said to me than flattery when my heart is still and life has ceased to be.

I would rather have a loving smile from my family, I know are true than tears shed round my casket when this world I've bid adieu.

Bring me all your flowers today whether pink, or white, or red; I'd rather have one blossom now than a truckload when I'm gone.

Reposing on Friday, December 13 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 PM at Marine Park Funeral Home, 3024 Quentin Road, Brooklyn, NY.

Mass of Christian burial will be held 9:45 AM on Saturday, December 14 at St. Edmund R.C. Church, 2460 Ocean Avenue, Brooklyn.

Burial to immediately follow at St. Charles Cemetery, Farmingdale.
