Obituary of Robert Joel Hoffer
Robert Joel Hoffer, 81, of Brooklyn, NY, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 8, 2024. Mr. Hoffer was born December 16, 1942, in Brooklyn, NY. He is the son of the late Morris and the late Edith (Gertzenstein) Hoffer.
Mr. Hoffer is a proud veteran of the United States Army, having served in the Korean War. He was a dedicated soldier who fought with unwavering courage and resilience, embodying the true spirit of service and sacrifice. After returning home, he carried with him the values of duty, honor and integrity, always striving to help others in need.
Above all else, Mr. Hoffer was a devoted family man. He cherished the moments spent with his loved ones and worked tirelessly to provide for and support his family. His love and commitment were the foundation upon which his family built their lives, and his wisdom and strength will live on in the generations that follow.
Mr. Hoffer is survived by his wife Gayle (Finley) Hoffer.
Loved father of Jennifer Hoffer (Chuck Wiseman.)
Devoted grandfather of Tyler Wiseman.
Brother of Harold Hoffer.
Mr. Hoffer will be missed by Richard Fine, Sherry Fine, Michelle Fine and many more of his beloved cousins.
Private cremation to take place at Green-Wood Crematory, Brooklyn.
