Obituary of Kathleen Wayne

Kathleen Wayne, beloved mother, aunt, and friend, passed away peacefully on November 20, 2024, at the age of 95. Her life was marked by love, resilience, and an unwavering dedication to her family.

She is survived by her cherished children, Raymond Wayne and Susan (Stephen) Skelton. Kathleen held a special place in the heart of Adam Skelton, who will deeply miss her warmth and guidance.

Kathleen was a devoted aunt to Barbara Jean (Roy), Leigh Ann (Roger), Lauren (Dara), James Jr. (Jamie), Maureen, Edward (Andrea), Robert, and William, sharing countless memories and heartfelt moments with each. She was also a loving great-aunt and great-great-aunt to many, leaving a legacy of kindness and affection that will live on in the hearts of her extended family.

The visitation for Kathleen Wayne will be held at Marine Park Funeral Home on Tuesday, November 26, 2024 from 4:00 to 9:00 PM. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mark Roman Catholic Church on Wednesday, November 27, 2024 at 9:30 AM - the family will be gathering at the funeral home by 8:30 AM. The Committal Service will immediately follow the Funeral Mass at St. Charles Cemetery in Farmingdale, NY.
