Obituary of Veronica E. Landsmark-Roy

Veronica Edia Landsmark-Roy was born in Curacao in 1946 to Louisa Kathleen Landsmark and Paul Parker.  Veronica lived in Curacao and Aruba, then moved to St. Thomas, USVI, where she worked as a beautician.  Veronica moved to Brooklyn, NY and started working as a healthcare worker. In 1991 she worked for Bais Ezra with low challenged adults where she was loved by her coworkers and her patients. She met and married her soulmate Francis De Luke Roy (Deceased) in 2005. Veronica leaves to grieve her beloved sisters: Ilona Warner (H: Franklin), Ingrid DeJesus, and Jacqueline Warner, a host of nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, her aunt Lilian Bell and family of Toronto, Canada.  Her Stepchildren: Mary Andrea Batson, Cherry Ann Roy, and son Leon Changar, and an abundance of friends and family too numerous to mention. 

Wake service will be on Monday September 23, 2024 from 5:00 to 9:00 PM at Marine park Funeral Home. 3024 Quentin Road Brooklyn, NY 11234, 718-339-8900.

Funeral mass will be on Tuesday September 24, 2024 at St. Thomas Aquinas Roman Catholic Church at 9:30 AM. 1550 Hendrickson Street Brooklyn, NY 11234.

Committal service will immediately follow to St. John’s Cemetery. 80-01 Metropolitan Avenue Middle Village, NY 11379.
