Obituary of Francine Lazzaro

With heavy hearts we announce that Francine Lazzaro peacefully passed away at the age of 62, after bravely battling cancer. Francine, born to the late Paul and Anna Varese, leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and cherished memories.

Francine was the cherished wife of Daniel Lazzaro, her steadfast partner throughout life's journey. Francine was the epitome of maternal devotion, a loving mother to Dana (Joseph) Albanese, Megan Lazzaro, and Dante Lazzaro. Her nurturing spirit and unwavering support enriched the lives of her children, guiding them with wisdom and affection.

Francine's role as a grandmother brought her immeasurable joy. She adored Lucas Albanese, her grandson, showering him with affection and creating cherished moments together.

Francine was a cherished sister to Margaret (Anthony) Romano. 

Her warm smile, compassionate heart, and gentle spirit touched the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her. Francine's legacy of love and resilience will forever remain in the hearts of those who were fortunate to have crossed paths with her.

The visitation for Francine Lazzaro will be held at Marine Park Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 30, 2024 from 2:00 to 5:00 PM & 7:00 to 9:00 PM. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Bernard Roman Catholic Church on Wednesday, May 1, 2024 at 9:30 AM - the family will be gathering at the funeral home by 8:30 AM. The Committal Service will immediately follow the Funeral Mass at Resurrection Cemetery in Staten Island.
