Obituary of Barbara Bisset

Barbara Bisset, age 83, of Brooklyn entered into eternal rest on Sunday, April 14, 2024. Born on September 5, 1940, in her beloved Brooklyn, Barbara was the daughter of the late William and Anne Bisset.

Barbara will be fondly remembered as the loving aunt of William, Suzanne, Janine, and Jennifer, and the beloved great aunt of Erica, Samantha, Billy, Christopher, AJ, Tyler, and Max.

An independent and vibrant woman, Barbara was affectionately known to all as "Aunt Barbara." She possessed a sweet soul and was renowned for her attentive listening ear and unwavering loyalty as a confidant. Barbara's warm presence and genuine care endeared her to everyone she met.

Barbara had a passion for travel, Broadway and cherished her last adventure, a cruise around the Mediterranean in Europe. She enjoyed life to the fullest, shopping spree excursions and laughter-filled cocktail lunches with her dear friend, Rosie.

Barbara's presence brought joy and comfort to all who knew her, and her memory will forever be cherished.

Friends and family are invited to pay their respects during the repose on Thursday, April 18, from 2:00 to 5:00 PM and from 7:00 to 9:00 PM at Marine Park Funeral Home, 3024 Quentin Road, Brooklyn, New York.

Funeral Mass will be held at 9:30 AM on Friday, April 19, at St. Mark R.C. Church, located at 2609 East 19th Street, Brooklyn, followed by a committal service at Green-Wood Crematory Chapel, Brooklyn.

Barbara's memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
