Obituary of Anthony F. Sweeney

Anthony F. Sweeney, age 78, of Brooklyn, NY, passed away Thursday, January 25, 2024, at home in Brooklyn. Mr. Sweeney was born July 1, 1945, in Brooklyn, NY. He is the son of the late Henry and the late Anna (nee Cassisi) Sweeney.

Anthony is survived by his beloved brothers Carmine (Lucille) and George.

Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May Anthony's soul and all the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.

Calling hours will be Wednesday, February 7 from 2:00 – 5:00 and 7:00 – 9:00 PM at Marine Park Funeral Home, Inc., 3024 Quentin Road, Brooklyn, NY.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:00 AM on Thursday, February 8 at Good Shepherd R.C. Church, 1950 Batchelder Street, Brooklyn, NY.

Burial to immediately follow be in St. John's Cemetery, Middle Village.
