I always enjoyed stopping and speaking with you as I walked to the stores on Ave S. Whenever we went to Lowe’s in Red Hook we would look for you, say hi and then get into a conversation about the neighborhood. Always thought we’d get you in trouble. Rest in Peace Barbara

Barbara’s smile, warm embrace, comforting kind soul, and laughter, is like a precious gem, that will be cherished always. Barbara was a wonderful friend. From childhood to adulthood, we may not have seen each other often, but conversations would pick up right where they’d leave off. Mary Kate blessed Barbara’s entire being. When I started working at Lowe’s, Barbara was one person that would greet me every time I came in the store. She was almost always smiling except when that occasional crazy customer came through her line. Even now when I would come back to visit the store I was always greeted with a hug. She will be greatly missed.
