Obituary of Pauline Deane-Kone

Pauline "Paula" Deane of Marietta, Georgia passed away on December 16, 2023 at 69 years of age in Brooklyn, New York. Pauline was a caring mother of 6, grandmother of 12, sister, and friend. Her love for God and life didn't end with her sudden death. Her last moments were spent speaking with family and enjoying a meal with the love of her life. In his arms, Pauline gracefully transitioned to her heavenly father. Pauline will forever be missed, and we will honor her legacy today and forevermore.

Pauline Deane-Kone born yin Georgetown, Guyana to Julian and Lucinda Deane on February 22, 1954. Pauline migrated to America from Guyana in pursuit of her desires to provide her children with the best possible life. It was her commitment and priority to make sure that their education, health, and well-being were well taken care of and that they were loved. In her lifetime, she will be remembered most for her love and compassion for others.

Pauline loved cooking, reading, shopping, dressing up in beautiful clothes, going to church and spending time with her family.

Pauline is survived by her partner Blair Price, parents Julian and Lucinda Deane, her six children: Kome, Teola, Noela, Rawle, Sabrina and Marissa, 12 grandchildren: Marvin, Kieron, Christine, Bree, Laniyah, Christian, Kiliyah, Cecil, Mathew, Logan, Kaigan and Nu'maan.

She is preceded in death by her sister Patricia Deane, brother Anthony Deane and spouse Varro Kone. Her cheerful memories and bright smile will be remembered and cherished by her family and friends.
