Dear Pino Family,
I am deeply sorry for your loss. I am a former parent of P.S.312. Your daughter the most sweetest, kindhearted, on top of everything person. Everyone can see that she would help with any need. The first time I went to her is when my now 22 year old son was in 1st grade
What had happened was my family went on holiday outside the country for 2 months and when we came back my son loss so much he was so behind all the others your daughter help me but at that time it didn’t seem like anything worded. As time went on my son hardly graduated P.S. 312 Off to Roy Mann and then it happened everything your daughter instilled into my son worked
I was so proud of my son thanks to your daughter she single handedly did it he was reading and writing beyond his years I am forever grateful to her
Now my kids are in college and doing very well
As years passed I had a part time job at dollar tree and thats where I again connected with Miss Pino and she told me that she was get a job at Kingsboro College I was so happy because my kids were attending that college
And I would see her once and a while coming in to pick up some supplies. Then after a while I didn’t see her I tried to contact her through the college but no one knows of her and I didn’t know what department she was located in. Then I seen the garden center had her name on it I was so happy thinking wow she finally did what she set out to do Then I asked where can I find Miss Pino to congratulate her and thats when I heard of her passing
I was in disbelief I said no way she was healthy and active that’s impossible
My heart was broken I felt like I lost a personal loved one
We didn’t even have that close of a relationship thats how sweet and inviting she was to everyone
I don’t mean to open old wounds but your family needs to know how much your daughter was loved and needed
To all she left behind I wish you all the best of her Legacy of memories and I know its sad and you will always miss her but you will always have her memories and there are many beautiful memories that can never be taken from you
May the brightest light shine so she may walk through the gates of have where she will live in peace until we all meet again
Sincerely, Maryum Najeeb

Ms. Pino, I found out about your passing today and my heart is broken. You have always been so kind and loving to me and my family. I remember how much you would always look after me in P.s312. I specifically remember when you lended me your snow pants to go on my 5th grade senior trip. I remember my dad telling me he spoke with you a few years back when you were volunteering at RoyHMahnn. I really do wish I could have spoken to you one last time. Your dedication for students and the way you cared for others around you never went unnoticed. May your soul rest in perfect peace. - Eniola, Ogunlade family

I am shocked and so sorry to hear of Ms Pino’s passing. She was a wonderful lady who looked out for ALL children.
Her warm smile and pleasant disposition made her a favorite. My daughter is now 24 years old but has said that Ms Pino has had a major impact on her life. May she rest in peace.

Carol was truly a guardian angel that watched over all kids at P.S 312 including myself, my brother and all of our friends. We were blessed enough to live right around the corner. Carols visits were truly a joy. Ones I will never forget. Her friendship with my mother Sheila was beyond genuine. I will never forget her beautiful smile and how gracious she always was. Half my P.S 312 memories revolve around Carol. She will be deeply missed by all. My sincere condolences to her family.

Carol was a beautiful person and a great cousin. Carol and I had great times hanging out with each other, she was caring and made sure I got home safely from nights out dancing. I remember going to Brennans on Coyle Street in Marine Park, she would always ask me who I got mad. We looked a lot a like and many people thought she was me. She met her husband at Brennans and had a great marriage. I remember when Carol got married she never did the traditional bouquet throwing, she decided to give them to me. Carol had such a big heart. Dance away in heaven my beautiful cousin you will forever live on in my heart as you always have. Love you your cousin Phyllis

Warren and I along with everyone else are so saddened about the passing of our dear friend Carol! There’s nothing Carol wouldn’t do to better her community! She worked so hard but made sure every task she undertook had good outcomes. She had a heart of gold and was determined to help in anyway she could. May her memory be a blessing. Rip We love you Carol. Warren & Jayne Bell
