Carol Brothers

Obituary of Carol A. Brothers

Carol A. Brothers, age 85, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, October 24, 2023. She was a remarkable woman who lived life on her own terms and with a vibrant spirit that touched the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Carol was born on April 4, 1938, in Queens, New York, to the late John Francis and the late Helen (Gunther) Murphy. She was a beloved mother to her daughters, Donna Brothers (Tom Molfetto) and Laura DeCaro (Frank DeCaro). Carol's love and devotion to her family knew no bounds, and her legacy lives on through her cherished grandchildren: Erica Molfetto, Nicholas DeCaro, and Elizabeth Molfetto.

In addition to being a dedicated mother and grandmother, Carol was a dear sister to Linda Sullivan – Leo and the late Geraldine "Geri" Davis. She maintained a close bond with her family, touching the lives of many nieces and nephews who held a special place in her heart.

Carol's life was a testament to her strength, independence, and her desire to live life precisely as she envisioned it. Her legacy reminds us all to embrace life's opportunities and to cherish our family with the same unwavering love and dedication that she exemplified.

Though Carol has bid us farewell, her memory will forever reside in our hearts. She leaves behind a legacy of love to her family that will continue to inspire us all.

As we gather to remember and celebrate Carol's life, we do so with gratitude for the precious moments we shared with her. She has touched our lives in countless ways, and her memory will remain a cherished treasure.

Forever In Our Hearts

Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May Carol's soul and all the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
