Valerie Harvey

Obituary of Valerie Harvey

Valerie Anne Harvey was a caring daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, niece and friend. She passed away at the age of 66 after a brief illness in Stuart, Fl.

She was born on August 25, 1956 in Brooklyn, New York to parents Rosemary and Dominick Macari where she lived most of her adult life until moving to Florida in 2016.

Her greatest joy in life was her family. She is survived by her mother Rosemary Macari, daughters Jaime Thompson ( Ryan) and Diana Calabrese (Robert), adoring grandchildren, Aubrie, Ryan and Joseph, loving  sister Pamela Falco (John), and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and cousins whom she treasured. She is predeceased by her father Dominick Macari and her beloved sister Tomi Mueller (Christopher).

Valerie will be remembered for her infinite love of her grandchildren, who were her pride and joy, and for always putting family and friends first. She had a sweet tooth and could never turn down ice cream or an iced mocha latte with whipped cream.  Wherever Valerie was, candy and sweets were sure to be nearby. Her sense of humor and ability to hold a grudge was like no other. It was easy to laugh with her and plot revenge at the same time.

Valerie worked as a receptionist at a local assisted living facility and was known by co-workers and residents as being the life of the party. She loved dancing and engaging with residents and came to adore many of the friends she made there.

The family takes great comfort in Valerie’s heavenly reunion with her sister, Tomi, whom she shared a special relationship with.

Forever In Our Hearts

Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May Valerie's soul and all the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
