Obituary of Joan M. Flynn

Joan M. Flynn, age 90, entered into eternal rest on Monday, April 17, 2023 at home in Breezy Point, Queens. Joan was born April 8, 1933 in Brooklyn, New York. She is the daughter of the late William J. and the late Mary C. (Holt) Flynn. Beloved partner of 56 years to the late Rocky A. Summa. Loving sister of Susan Colandone (Andy), the late Catherine Flynn, the late Robert Flynn, the late Thomas Flynn, the late Jack Flynn, the late William Flynn, the late Edmond Flynn, the late Brendan Flynn and the late Gerard Flynn. Cherished aunt to many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews.

Forever In Our Hearts

Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May Joan's soul and all the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.

Reposing Wednesday, April 19 from 3:00 - 7:00 PM at Marine Park Funeral Home, 3024 Quentin Road, Brooklyn.

Mass of Christian burial will be held 9:30 AM on Thursday, April 20 at St. Thomas More R.C. Church, 204-25 Rockaway Point Blvd., Breezy Point.

Burial to follow at St. Charles Cemetery, Farmingdale.
