Obituary of Lucille Cavitolo

Lucille Cavitolo, age 88, of Philadelphia, PA passed away Friday, March 3, 2023. Mrs. Cavitolo was born December 17, 1934, in Brooklyn, NY. She is the daughter of the late Joseph and the late Angelina (nee Carife) Apicella. 

As a young lady, Mrs. Cavitolo was a semi-classical singer and model for Lord & Taylor. She became the Owner and Head Chef at Riviera Caterers. After retiring, Mrs. Cavitolo devoted much of her time to feeding the homeless with St. Marks Roman Catholic Church in Philadelphia, PA.

Predeceased by her beloved husband Andrew Cavitolo.

Survived by her devoted children Andrea Kantor (Warren) and Zachary Cavitolo (Patricia.)

Cherished grandmother of Andrew Cavitolo (Tara,) Gina Kantor and Gregory Kantor.

Great grandmother of Zachary Cavitolo.

Forever In Our Hearts

Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May Mrs. Cavitolo’s soul and all the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.

Visitation will be Tuesday, March 7, 2023, from 2:00 - 7:00 PM at Marine Park Funeral Home, Inc., 3024 Quentin Road, Brooklyn, NY.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held 9:45 AM on Wednesday, March 8 at Good Shepherd R.C. Church, 1950 Batchelder Street, Brooklyn, NY. 

Burial to immediately follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, 3620 Tilden Ave, Brooklyn, NY.
