Obituary of Elizabeth Holstrom

Elizabeth Holstrom, age 94, of Breezy Point, NY passed away Saturday, October 22, 2022. Mrs. Holstrom was born October 27,1927 in Brooklyn, NY. She is the daughter of the late Karnig and the late Rose (nee Soojian) Takakjian. 

She was predeceased by her husband Arthur Holstrom. 

She is survived by her devoted children Jeannette Lynch (Tom,) the late Loretta Carberry (John,) Arthur Holstrom and Mark Holstrom (Monica.)

Mrs. Holstrom was the loved grandmother of James Lynch (Marleen,) Nancy Ridgeway (Philip,) TJ Lynch (Lauren,) Tara Lynch (Sean); Alyson Borruso (Frank) and Jacqueline Carberry; Mark Holstrom and Marie Holstrom.

Great Grandmother to Grace, Ryan, Kasey, Daniel, Liam, Quinn, Brianna, Madelyn and McKenna.

Cherished sister of Jeannette, Florence, Bertha and Carl.

Forever In Our Hearts

Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May Mrs. Holstrom’s soul and all the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.

Visitation will be Tuesday, October 25 from 2:00 – 5:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 pm at Marine Park Funeral Home, Inc., 3024 Quentin Road, Brooklyn, NY.

A Mass of Christian burial will be on Wednesday, October 26 at 11:00 AM at St. Thomas More R.C. Church, 204-25 Rockaway Point Blvd., Rockaway Point, NY.

Burial to immediately follow in St. John's Cemetery, Middle Village.
