Obituary of Rejeanne Preval

Our beloved mother, grandmother, sister, friend, co-worker, and neighbor, Rejeanne Preval passed away on Monday, April 18th, 2022. She was born on January 10th, 1953. If you were born in January, you already scored points with her. Rejeanne was born in a small town named Plaine-du-Nord situated on the mountainous northern coast of Haiti. She was always proud of her hometown.

Rejeanne loved being a mom. She enjoyed working, cooking, and spending time with family and friends. Oh, let's not forget bargain shopping with street vendors. She enjoyed making people laugh but don't cross her because you would immediately feel her subtle wrath. Her bible was her comfort.

Rejeanne is survived by her sister Philomene Gedeus, brothers Esaie and Jean-Baptiste Gedeus, son Fritznel Preval and daughter Chrislene Preval and a multitude of grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

A time of gathering will be held in her favorite state of New York on Saturday, April 30th, 2022 from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Services will be held at Marine Park Funeral Home with Pastor Pierre Eric Charles officiating. The Service will begin at 10:30 AM. The funeral cortege will be departing the funeral home at 12:30 PM to Pinelawn Memorial Park for the entombment.

Please take advantage of the tribute Wall tab to express your compassion and condolences over Rejeanne's passing.
