Obituary of Robert J. Goeller

Robert J. Goeller, age 89, of Brooklyn entered into eternal rest on Thursday, March 10, 2022. Mr. Goeller was born November 21, 1932 in Brooklyn, New York. He is the son of the late Sylvester H. and the late Veronica (Truska) Goeller. Robert served in the Navy from 1952 -1956. He was the recipient of the Good Conduct Medal, Navy Occupation Service Medal and the National Defense Service Medal. Dedicated firefighter with the FDNY. Beloved husband of 49 years to the late Virginia Goeller. Loving father of Joseph F. Ammirati and his wife, Mary Ann. Cherished grandfather of Joseph W. Ammirati, Christine Francis D'Ambra, Bryan Ammirati, Daniel Tracy and Sean Ammirati. Dear great grandfather of Larry Keane, Christopher Ammirati, Bryan Ammitari, Aiden Ammirati, Keira Ammirati, Riley D'Ambra and Sebastian Ammirati. Treasured uncle of Jimmy Langley and Susie.

Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May Robert's soul and all the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.

Reposing Monday, March 14 from 2 - 5 and 7 - 9 at Marine Park Funeral Home, 3024 Quentin Road, Brooklyn.

Mass of Christian burial will be held 9:45 AM on Tuesday, March 15 at Good Shepherd R.C. Church, 1950 Batchelder Street, Brooklyn.

Burial to follow at St. John's Cemetery, Middle Village, Queens.
