Obituary of John L. Capozucca

John L. Capozucca, age 77, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, February 15, 2022. John was born January 10, 1945 in Brooklyn, New York. He is the son of the late John M. and the late Madeline (Lennon) Capozucca. Proud US Navy veteran and recipient of the Good Conduct Medal for his dedicated service. Beloved husband of 53 years to Jean M. (Sheeler) Capozucca. Loving father of John M. Capozucca (Ann-Marie) and Jeannine Capozucca-Balsamo (Stephen). Cherished grandpa of John L., Grace Ellen, Emma Jean, Madeline Olympia, Anna Lauren and Alyssa Jean.

 

Forever In Our Hearts

 

Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May John's soul and all the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.

 

Reposing Friday, February 18 from 2 - 5 and 7 – 9 PM at Marine Park Funeral Home, 3024 Quentin Road, Brooklyn.

 

Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:00 AM on Saturday, February 19 at St. Columba R.C. Church, 2245 Kimball Street, Brooklyn, with Fr. Timothy Lambert officiating. 

 

Burial to immediately follow at St. Charles Cemetery, Farmingdale.
