Ann Kelly

Obituary of Ann Kelly

Ann Kelly, nee McNerney, aged 73,  passed away on December 29, 2021 at Mount Sinai Hospital in Brooklyn NY after a brief illness.   Ann is survived by her loving husband, Francis Kelly.  Ann was a devoted sibling to her 3 sisters (Peggy, Mary and Eileen) and her 2 brothers (Richie and Jackie) all of whom are predeceased.   Ann was the adored aunt of 19 nieces and nephews and the great aunt of many grandnieces and grandnephews.

Ann worked as a bookkeeper her entire career, having recently retired from a non-profit organization after many years.  Ann enjoyed nothing more than visiting family, keeping traditions, helping with children, projects, memories, laughs and celebrations.   Ann loved family photos, Facebook, and visiting friends and neighbors.  She always knew what people needed to hear and was also a great listener.  She had friendships that lasted for decades and was a big part of the lives of so many.

We will miss our “kiddo”, all of her sweet attention, her humility and her smile.  Rest in peace, Ann.  And say hello to all of those we miss every day.  They are in heaven waiting with open arms for you.

Forever In Our Hearts

Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May Ann's soul and all the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
