Obituary of Colette Anne Sayar

Colette Anne Sayar, age 83, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, December 9, 2021. Anne was born July 16, 1938 in Ireland. She is the daughter of the late John Milton and the late Agnes (Laughlin) Cully. Beloved wife of the late Vedat “Robert” Sayar. Loving mother of Kenan P. Sayar and his wife, Lisa Sayar, Laura Aysen Sayar, Erin Suzanne Sayar, Janet Nida Piccarillo and her husband, Vincent Piccarillo and Leyla A. Guirand. Cherished grandmother of Vincent J. Piccarillo, Matthew Piccarillo, Jacob Sayar, Ruby Sayar, Lucas Sayar, Delilah Guirand, David Guirand, Patrick Guirand and Chloe Lathrop. Beloved aunt of many nieces and nephews. Anne will be welcomed into Heaven by her late siblings, Jack Cully, Peter Cully, Margaret Fox and Mary Kellet.

Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May Anne's soul and all the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.

 

Reposing Monday, December 13 from 4:00 - 9:00 PM at Marine Park Funeral Home, 3024 Quentin Road, Brooklyn.

 

Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:30 AM on Tuesday, December 14 at Our Lady Help of Christians R.C. Church, 1315 East 28th Street, Brooklyn.

 

Burial to follow at Pinelawn Memorial Park, Farmingdale.
