Obituary of Ingrid Christine Alexander

Ingrid Christine Alexander was born in Grenada on September 1, 1971. She is the daughter of Benedict Hall and the late Joyce Ursula Rennie. In 1990, Ingrid emigrated to the United States. Ingrid always wanted to have two kids, a boy and a girl. She was so overjoyed when she had her first child Holly in 1995 and her son Tristan in 2006. Ingrid attended Brooklyn College, where she earned a Bachelor degree in Business Administration. Ingrid worked for the Grenada Board of Tourism in NY and as an Educator at James Madison High School in Brooklyn.

Ingrid was a devoted Christian, her love of God was prevalent. She served as an Evangelist and was passionate about her relationship with God; serving brought happiness and joy into her life. Ingrid was a beloved mother, sister, aunty, and teacher. She was caring, kindhearted, understanding, and a well-organized woman who lived a life of contentment. Ingrid was well loved and admired for her resilience, great sense of humor, contagious smile, and classiness. She was always very happy, never complained and time spent with her was always memorable.

Ingrid passed away on Monday, December 6, 2021, at her home. She leaves behind her husband: Patrick Alexander; her daughter Holly Alexander, son, Tristan Alexander, Her father, Benedict Hall; Sisters: Yvette, Wendyann and Shelia; Brothers: Sebastian, Dominic, Cosmo, Azel, Lemrick, Jovica; Brother- In- Law: Teddy Edwards; Sisters- in- Law: Dale, Lidia, Tamica; Nieces: Esther, Sade, Rylie, Joycelyn; Nephews: Kyron, Matthew, Aaron, Sharkeem, Azel Jr, Nathan, Calique and Jayden; Aunts: Celia, Bernadette, Theresa and Cynthia; Uncles: William, Nathan, Martin, Culbert and Sabu; Relatives and friends: Wayne Alexander, Theresa Hall, Phillip Alexander, Cherryann, Kerry, Ian, Andy, Donna, Sheldon, Jenny Hynes, Olivia Dupuy, The Hall, Horsford, Rennie, Charles, Clark, Bubb, Andrews and Thomas, family in Grenada. The Sharp family in England; Hall family in Trinidad, staff and students of James Madison High School, staff and students of P.S. 222, and countless other family members and loved ones with whom she shared a special place in her heart.

Visitation for Ingrid will take place on Saturday, December 11, 2021 beginning at 8:30 AM. A service will be carried out from 9:00 - 10:00 AM at Marine Park Funeral Home, Inc, 3024 Quentin Road, Brooklyn, NY 11234.

Burial to follow at Cypress Hills Cemetery, 833 Jamaica Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11208.
