FIRED UP FOR A CURE
Our secondary mission is to empower our cancer survivors to embrace life beyond having a cancer diagnosis. Fired Up for a Cure aims to show cancer survivors how to overcome the psychological and physical challenges of cancer treatment through teamwork and strong interpersonal support from a network of their fellow survivors. As Oncology Case Managers, the compassion we feel for all those touched by cancer (from the cancer survivor to those who worry and care for a cancer sufferer, to those who want to help and those who have suffered the loss of a loved one to cancer) has a huge impact on our work.
THE EMS FDNY HELP FUND
The EMS FDNY Help Fund is a 501(c)(3). The funds that we raise are designated expressly for the Emergency Medical Technicians & Paramedics of the FDNY. Our mission is to ensure the security of our Emergency Medical Technicians and Paramedics and their families in the event of death, injury, illness or hardship. We seek to provide our dedicated EMS professionals with peace of mind.
THE FDNY FIRE FAMILY TRANSPORT FOUNDATION
The central focus of the Foundation is assisting the families of firefighters in their times of greatest need, in transporting firefighters, family members and department personnel to and from medical institutions both for care and family support. The Foundation is all-volunteer, entirely non-profit, and depends on donations of equipment, funds and service to carry out its mission.
At Marine Park Funeral Home, we do everything in our power to help you honor the memory of your deceased loved one.
