I worked with Joan. She was a loving and sweet girl (we were very young at the time) We remained friends through the years. I loved her smile, and her kindness. I will miss her greatly!

Joan left an indelible mark on all of us and was a blessing to the Dowd family. She was kind, funny, thoughtful and generous. We will miss her hilarious stories and warm laugh! She loved life, her devoted husband Mike and her close knit family. We pray that all who loved her find comfort knowing she is safe in the arms of Jesus Christ and reunited in Paradise with all the loved ones who predeceased her. I walked into my grandmothers home today and saw this picture pinned to the wall, of Joanie and her mother Eileen looking beautiful. It made me smile. Joanie will be missed by all of us and is in our thoughts. My sincere condolenses to Mike and all of Joanies family. Ar Dheis Dé go raibh a hanam.
