Obituary of Eileen M. Dettmer

Eileen M. Dettmer passed away on December 1, 2021. She was 91 years old. Eileen is the daughter of the late James and Mae Cooney. She is the spouse of the late Henry C. Dettmer. Eileen is the beloved mother of Fr. David, Richard (Ilene), and Donald Dettmer. She is the loving grandmother of Caitlin and Megan. Eileen is the dear sister of the late Florence Carlin, the late Jeanne Prescott, the late James Cooney, William (Pat) Cooney, Robert (Josephine) Cooney, Carole Cooney, and Susan Middleton. Eileen will be greatly missed by her many nieces and nephews.

The visitation for Eileen M. Dettmer will be held at Marine Park Funeral Home on Thursday, December 2, 2021, from 6:00 to 9:00 PM and Friday, December 3, 2021, from 2:00 to 5:00 PM and 7:00 to 9:00 PM. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Good Shepherd Roman Catholic Church on Saturday, December 4, 2021, at 10:30 AM - the family will be meeting at the funeral home by 9:30 AM.
