Obituary of Francis Thomas Arcati

Francis T. Arcati 85 of Renaissance, Manchester entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, October 26, 2021. Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, he moved to Manchester 12 years ago. He was employed for 38 years as an airplane refueler at JFK Airport, Jamaica, NY before retiring in 1999. He served in the U.S. Army from 1960-62. He belonged to the Italian-American Club at the Renaissance, and was an avid pool player. He was a parishioner of St Luke's Church, Toms River. He is predeceased by a brother, Thomas Arcati. Surviving is his loving wife of 60 years, Carmela (Pipino) Arcati, 3 sons and their wives, Michael and Marla Arcati, Stephen and Sandra Arcati, and Frank Jr. and Nancy Arcati. Also surviving is his sister, Sister Teresa of Jesus (Arcati) and 5 grandsons, Ralph, Nicholas, Matthew, Christopher, and Vincent.

Forever In Our Hearts

Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May Francis' soul and all the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.

Reposing Thursday from 4-8 pm at Oliverie Funeral Home, 2925 Ridgeway Road, Manchester, New Jersey and on Friday from 2-5 & 7-9 pm at the Marine Park Funeral Home, 3024 Quentin Road, Brooklyn, New York.

Mass of Christian burial will be held 11:00 AM on Saturday, October 30 at St. Bernard R.C. Church, 2055 East 69th Street, Brooklyn.

Burial will immediately follow to Green-Wood Cemetery, 500 25th Street, Brooklyn, New York.
