Obituary of Gerard F. Rizzi

Gerard Rizzi was born on February 10, 1944. Mr. Rizzi grew up on 16th street in Park Slope and attended Holy Name Grammar school and Manual Training High School. He moved to Gerritsen Beach in 1967 and built his home on Lester Court. Mr. Rizzi served in the Army from 1962 - 1965, stationed in Frankfort Germany. Mr. Rizzi was a proud employee of Turner Construction, where he retired as a construction engineer. Mr. Rizzi enjoyed hunting with his best friends and collecting Lionel model trains with his cousin Arnold Bevelaqua.

He will be dearly missed by his wife Carol Rizzi, daughter Jeannine Perry and her husband Christopher.  His grand children Jordan Rizzi, Cedric Perry and Corra Perry. His sister, Marie Rizzi, his brother Michael Rizzi and brother-in-law Jimmy McKee, along with his wife Joyce.

The visitation will take place Sunday, October 17, 2021 from 2:00 - 7:00 PM at Marine Park Funeral Home.
