I was a student of Dr. Guigno in 2017-2019 at Kingsborough. He has taught me a lot and I am so grateful for every single piece of knowledge he shared with all of us. I just found out about his decease and I am truly sad. He was and always will be the most wonderful mentor I have ever had in my life. My deepest condolences to the family and colleagues….

I was a student of Professor Guigno's in 2018. I just found out he passed away and my condolences to his family. He made such an impact on my life and the way I view myself. I wish I could be saying these words to him but hopefully where ever he may be. He feels the legacy he left behind. I can't thank him enough for educating me on domestic violence and relieving some of the pain I experienced through his education. May his memory live on through the impact he made on us.

I’ve known Charlie for over 20 Years. Charlie has been a big part of my life and gift from God. I will miss him and pray for all his Loved ones. Charlie will truly be missed. There is probably only a hand full of people that someone can count on in life and Charlie was one person that I’m sure was that person in there life.

I worked with Charles for over 25 years at Kingsborough Community College, CUNY. He was amazing - a tireless teacher totally dedicated to his students and to the college. As director of the Mental Health program in the Behavioral Sciences Department, he was completely focused on the program and it’s students, creating new ways for them to become professionals in this field. Most notably, Prof, Guigno created the Domestic Violence concentration - so needed in today’s society, preparing students to help make a better world for survivors of domestic violence. He was a treasure to the department and the school. Prof, Guigno will be sadly missed by his students, colleagues, and by me.

Charles was a loyal and loving friend to our family. He was uncle Charlie to my Daughters Dana and Debbie. His son Charles grew up with my daughters . Charles was always available to listen and gave the best advice and guidance. His son Charles is just as loyal and caring as his Dad was . Sorry could not attend the service. But there will always be a place in my heart forever. For Uncle Charlie and his son Charles . Aunt Joanne will alway be there for you .Amen ❤️

My friend, my cousin, we’ll miss our monthly lunches at Carmines, all the laughter when we talked about the old days when we were young. You’d laugh at me, Joey & Chuck when we’d argue about who was grandma’s favorite. All the family get togethers and how your dad and my dad did their comedy acts and don’t forget about the “Rockn’ Squgills, now that was a hell of a band. Say hello to them and tell them how much we miss them. You were the best, Carrol couldn’t have a better husband, Charles couldn’t have a better father, Francesca couldn’t have a better grandpa, Nicky couldn’t have a better brother and we couldn’t have a better cousin and friend. You touched many hearts over the years.
Rest in Eternal Peace until we meet again.

Charlie, though it's been a long time since we all hung out on Haring Street in the late 60's, early 70's, you and other departed "hooligans" Joey, Jackie & Jimmy will always hold special places in my important memories of days gone by. It won't be long until that old gang of ours will be reunited. Say hello to the other departed Haring Street Hooligans and those I've lost track of and be sure to keep the rice and gravy hot and plentiful. Peace.
