Obituary of Rachel Booth - Lauria

Rachel Booth - Lauria, age 73, of Brooklyn entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, August 31, 2021.  

I’d like the memory of me to be a happy one,

I’d like to leave an afterglow of smiles when life is done.

I’d like to leave an echo whispering softly down the ways,

of happy times and laughing times and bright and sunny days.

I’d like the tears of those who grieve, to dry before the sun.

Of happy memories that I leave when life is done.

Forever In Our Hearts

Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May Rachel’s soul and all the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.

Reposing Tuesday, September 7 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 PM and Wednesday, September 8 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 PM at Marine Park Funeral Home, 3024 Quentin Road, Brooklyn.

Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:15 AM on Thursday, September 9 at St. Edmund R.C. Church, 2460 Ocean Avenue, Brooklyn. 

Burial to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Brooklyn.
