Obituary of Harold Bross

Harold Bross, age 88, of Brooklyn, died Monday, May 24, 2021, at home in Brooklyn. Mr. Bross was born on January 11, 1933, in Brooklyn, NY. He is the son of the late Harold and the late Julia (O'Donnell) Bross. Harold was happily married to Arlene for 68 cherished years.

He served in the Navy from 06/02/1952 to 05/28/1956. He spent his career at the Brooklyn Union Gas Company, working in various positions.

Mr. Bross is survived by his wife, Arlene, and his children Pamela Murphy, Nancy Schneider, James (Kristine), and Jessica Lynn Bross. He is the adored grandfather of Jessica Bross, Michael Murphy (Fiana), Brianne Shaffer (Christopher), Richard Murphy (Victoria), Brandon Bross, and Brittany Bross. Dear brother of Carolyn (Peach) and Luddy Ribaudo, and the late Robert Bross and Maggie Bross.

He is also the proud great grandfather to Juliana Polanco, Christopher Shaffer, Ava Murphy, and Connor Shaffer.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:00 am on Saturday, May 29 at Mary Queen of Heaven R.C. Church, 1395 East 56th Street, Brooklyn, NY.

Calling hours will be Friday, May 28 from 3:00 to 8:00 PM at Marine Park Funeral Home, Inc., 3024 Quentin Road, Brooklyn, NY.
