Obituary of Regina Marie Luhrs
Regina Marie Luhrs, 57, passed away suddenly on May 16, 2021. She lived in Brooklyn her whole life, 50 years in Marine Park.
She attended St. Thomas Aquinas, Flatlands, and Stella Maris H.S.—class of 1982 and worked in legal billing at Kaye, Scholler law firm.
Regina loved cruises & Disney World trips. She was very proud of her accomplished goal to be a scuba-diver! Despite her MS, Regina never complained—she just carried on.
She will be greatly missed by her loving family, many relatives, extended family, and friends.
Regina’s parents, William & Mary Lorraine Luhrs, predeceased her. She is survived by sisters: Mary Luhrs & Barbara Luhrs; brothers: William (JoAnn) Luhrs & John Luhrs; nieces: Julia (Keith) Paulsen; Kristin Luhrs; nephews: William Luhrs & Joseph (Adam Phillips) Luhrs; grandnieces: Jenna, Cameron, Katherine Luhrs & Charlotte Paulsen; grandnephew: Benjamin Paulsen.

Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May Regina's soul and all the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
Reposing Sunday, May 23 from 2 - 5 and 7 - 9 at Marine Park Funeral Home, 3024 Quentin Road, Brooklyn.
Mass of Christian burial will be held 9:30 AM on Monday, May 24 at St. Thomas Aquinas R.C. Church, 1550 Hendrickson Street, Brooklyn.
Burial to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Brooklyn.
