Obituary of John Winters

John Winters left this earth on January 24, 2021. 

He leaves behind his wife and companion of 47 years Ann Winters (Madden) his four children, Naomi Ostopowitz (Frank), John, Karen (Dennis) and Dolores. He also leaves behind his grandchildren Andrew, Rebecca, Giana, Kaitlyn, Tyler and Leah, great-grandchildren William and Aubrey. John is also survived by his sisters Joan Maher and Kathy Winters.

John will be remembered by all who knew him to be friendly and always willing to lend a helping hand to all who asked. John retired as a motorman from NYCTA after more than 30 years of service then took on a new career as a school bus driver. John will be missed by all who loved and knew him. 

Forever In Our Hearts

Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May John's soul and all the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.

Reposing will take place Monday, February 1, 2021 from 4:00 - 8:00 pm at Marine Park Funeral Home, 3024 Quentin Road, Brooklyn.
