Eileen was such an endearing and generous woman. She loved her family so much and her heart and face filled with love and pride at the mention of her family. We always enjoyed our conversations with her, especially those about travel. A kind and gentle soul now is with G_d and I believe that she will continue to guide her family. Rest in eternal peace, Eileen. You will always be remembered and will always be missed. ...Debbie and Chet

Dear Aunt Eileen,
I am heartbroken at your passing. You were such a wonderful Aunt who always made me feel so loved. I am so sad that my children won’t grow up with your kindness, warmth and love. I have missed you every day and will continue to do so until we meet again. I know that you are with dad, grandma and grandpa now and will be looking down on us as a guardian angel. I love you, always.
Your Katie

What a lovely woman Eileen was. She was the Local President of Brooklyn Public Library for many years and best friends with our Research Department Director Evelyn Seinfeld. She would come to our office and have a kind word for everyone. We loved to talk about shoes, shopping, her grandchildren and my young children. Evelyn passed before her and I hope they will meet again in Heaven. Fondly, Moira Dolan, DC 37

I will miss you until I leave this earth myself Aunt Eileen. Words cannot express how broken hearted we all are, you have been such an important part of all of our lives. I long to hug you and hold your hand. I know you are with dad. I know how much you missed him, so I’m sure you were so happy to see him and be reunited. In spite of my grief, I’m so happy you will join dad in being a guardian Angel for our little Leonardo. I wish you had been able to hold him as we’d planned. Xoxoxo

Dear Aunt Eileen, I think of you every day. I am so thankful for the role you played in my life. You helped me to become a good man. You put up with my shenanigans as a young man. You always loved me and you always mentored me. You taught me that the sky is the limit and that with hard work, I could do anything.
As I went through the most difficult time of my life through the last 7 years, you were there to listen, you were there to talk, and you were there to help me through those difficult times. To me, you were a second mother, you were and Aunt, you were a Godmother, and most importantly of all, you were my friend.
I heard you when you told me "don't worry honey, it is beautiful". Thank you for letting me know. As I wrote this message to you on January 18th, I was so sad. Within about 1 minute of texting this message to you at 8PM, you had a friend call me to checkin. I had not spoken to him in some time and we never speak in the evening hours. I know that you continue to look over all of us each and every day.
I speak to God every day. I know that he will take care of you. I look forward to the next time we talk and get to have another wonderful conversation that we both enjoyed so much.
I will miss you. I am so thankful for our talks. Most of all I will miss my very good friend.
I will live my life trying to be half of the person that you were. Lisa and I will miss you, your kindness, and you love.
Love Mike and Lisa
