Obituary of Mario Censullo

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Mario Censullo on Thursday, December 10, 2020. Born on July 7, 1924, Mario was 96 years old.

Beloved husband and survived by his wife of 75 years, Mafalda Censullo. Loving father of Angela, Giuseppe, Giovanni, the late Antonio, Raffaele, Sergio, Virginia and Mario. He was the proud grandfather to Anna, Costabile, Rosemarie, Michele, Lisa, John Jr., Alessandra, Mario, Gianluca, Raffaele, Giovanna, Mario, Stefania, the late Noah, and Matthew. Great Grandfather to Vincenzo, Alba, Olivia, James, Axel, Astrid, Violet, Sadie, Lily, Giovanni, Emily, Zoe, Sofia, Lorenzo, Julian and Molly.

Mario with his loving wife Mafalda, came to America from Italy and began setting up his legacy in 1963. A shoe maker by trade, he successfully owned Mario’s Shoe Repair for over 30 years. He was a quiet and kind gentleman holding the highest integrity in family life. Mario was above all passionate and proud of all of his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He will be dearly missed.

The visitation for Mario Censullo will be held at Marine Park Funeral Home on Sunday December 13, 2020 from 11:00 to 2:00 PM. There will be a live-streamed prayer service at 1:00 PM. If you wish to virtually attend please follow the link below to the zoom meeting.

The Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, December 14, 2020 at St. Mark Roman Catholic Church at 10:30 AM. The Committal Service will immediately follow at St. Charles Cemetery.
