Obituary of Angela Colasuonno

It is with tremendous sorrow we announce the passing of Angela "Lena" Colasuonno of Brooklyn, New York, who passed away peacefully at home on December 3, 2020, at the age of 95.

Angela was predeceased by: her parents, Nicola and Anna Pesce. She was the second oldest of seven siblings. She was born on September 7, 1925 in Toritto, Bari, Italy.

Angela joins her husband, Riccardo Colasuonno, and son, Nicholas Colasuonno, in Heaven.

May the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.

Angela is survived by: her devoted son, Dominick Colasuonno, and daughter-in-laws, Lucy and Dina (Nicholas) Colasuonno, and her grandchildren, Angela, Christina, and Andrea Colasuonno.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, private services will be held with only the immediate family.

Wake is on Tuesday, December 8th from 4:00 - 8:00PM at Marine Park Funeral Home (3024 Quentin Road, Brooklyn 11234).

Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00AM on Wednesday, December 9th at St. Brendan's Catholic Church (1525 East 12th St, Brooklyn, NY 11230).

Burial to follow at Green-Wood Cemetery, inside Hillside Mausoleum (500 25th Street, Brooklyn, NY 11232).

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, Please CLICK HERE to be directed to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. 

Please be advised the Funeral Home must limit the number of attendees into the building under the Covid-19 Restrictions.
