Mary DeServio, nee Santarpia, passed away on November 28, 2020 at the tender age of 98.  She was the last survivor of her 10 brothers and sisters.

Mary was a lifelong resident of Brooklyn and moved from downtown Brooklyn to the Mill Basin area in 1968.  She was the devoted wife of the late Nicholas and loving mother to Pasquale (Rosalie), Louise Sepulveda and Susan Dalton (Bob). She was the cherished Grandmother to Krista Sepulveda–Frank (John),   Nicholas DeServio (Markelle), Kimberly MacDonald (Peter), Melanie George (Gregory), Melissa Hughes (Tom) and was blessed with eight great grandchildren Bliss DeServio, Alison Ellis, Bodhi DeServio, Joseph MacDonald, Liliana MacDonald, Natalie Ellis, Thomas Hughes and Jonathan Hughes.

Mary was an excellent cook, an  avid bingo player, enjoyed going to Atlantic City and was a member of the Mary Queen of Heaven Seniors Citizens Club and the Bergen Beach Senior Citizens Club.

Her greatest joy in life was her family and was loved immeasurably and will be held in our hearts forever.

Forever In Our Hearts

Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May Mary's soul and all the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
