Obituary of Anna J. Scarola

Anna J. Scarola (nee Russo, Annabelle) passed away on October 1, 2020, she was 85 years old. Anna was welcomed into Heaven by her loving husband Anthony Scarola. She was also preceded in death by her parents Anthony and Grace along with her siblings Alphonse, Josephine, Frances and John. She is the beloved mother of Ann Marie (Steven) Gravano, Frances (Sal) Guastella, Toni Gean (Michael) Settimo, and Anthony (Jaqueline) Scarola. Anna is the cherished grandmother of Franci (Roy), Gabrielle (Sal), Andrew (Kristina), Justine, Steven, Natalie, Victor, Vincent, Christopher, and Christina. She is the great-grandmother of Giuliana, Valentina, Augustino, and Sal. Anna was warm, caring, and very nurturing to all of her family members. In her early years, she was a talented dancer and singer whose voice sounded like Connie Francis only more angelic. She could have been a professional entertainer but chose to be a wife and mother and she did an outstanding job. She was a wonderful cook who always made sure everyone had enough to eat. She had a great sense of humor, always keeping everyone laughing with her jokes. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
