Mildred Andrezzi

Obituary of Mildred Andrezzi

Mildred was born on July 14, 1922 in Brooklyn, NY to her parents Pasquale and Caterina Gilberto who immigrated from Italy.  She was affectionately known to her 13 brothers and sisters and close friends as “Chubby”.  She worked as a secretary to the nursing Education Staff at Kings Brook Jewish Medical center for 25 years. She married John Andrezzi, also the son of Italian immigrants in November of 1948. He was a hard working brick layer who provided well for his family.

She is survived by her two children, John and Lawrence and their wives, Agnes  and Dawn; five grandchildren Nancy, Amy, Allison, John and Jena; three great-grandsons Johnny, Henry and William; sister Lola and brother Joseph. She was 98 years young. She loved to play mahjong with her friends and other card games with her family. She was a member of the senior center at Mary Queen of Heaven Church. She loved her family and friends and we loved her dearly. Mildred was a generous and kind mother, mother-in-law,  grandmother, great grandmother and friend to everyone she met. She will be greatly missed and never forgotten.

Please see SERVICE INFORMATION tab for directions to services.

Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May Mildred's soul and all the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
