Obituary of Caroline Votta
Caroline (Rel) Votta née DeRise.
Caroline was born and raised in Marine Park where she lived with her parents and seven brothers. Caroline married Joseph and together they raised four daughters Deborah (Richie), Michele (Richie), Carolyn (Chuck), and Cathy (Billy). Then came the apples of her eye, her grandchildren Richie (Jane), Tanya, Alex (Brandon), Nicole (Andrew), William (Rebecca), Charles, Jessica, Ginamarie, and Brianna. Also her great grandchildren Madison, Vincent, and Andrew (AJ). She loved them all unconditionally, they could do no wrong.
Caroline was the only girl of eight children, she was blessed to have seven sisters-in-law. On Caroline’s husbands side she had two brothers- in-law and three sisters-in-law. She had many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and great great nieces and nephews. They all loved their Aunt Rel.
Caroline’s favorite thing to do was to shop till she dropped. She even owned a store to help other people shop till they dropped. Some of her other favorites were bowling, bingo, gambling, and playing cards with her friends. She loved playing the numbers, making her the “Lotto Queen”.
Caroline will be missed dearly but will be remembered always!!!
