I always love going to Brooklyn to see Uncle Chris, Aunt Tomi, Greg and the girls. Aunt Tomi always made me feel like a little adult by giving us money to go to the corner store to pick up some stuff for her. I remember one time we bought cookies along with some other requests. I watched her open the cookies and she chewed on it with her front teeth and then made some funny throat squeaking noise that made me laugh. I remember just staring and thinking what the heck are you doing and when I finally asked she told me that she was checking to see if the cookie was fresh. That was the funniest thing I've ever heard and I've never seen anyone else do. To this day she has changed the way I eat Cheez-Its. I'm not sure why I do it with Cheez-Its when she was eating a cookie, but I do and I swear it makes them taste better, although I never got the throat noise down. Aunt Tomi knew how to make anyone feel warm and welcome and that's how I always felt that her house. Thanks for making life so fun and full of love<3 See you again xo

My favorite memories growing up were the times we spent in New York with family. When we were little all of us cousins were playing with the easy bake oven. I still remember us mixing things up and making a tiny cake. Jenna was excited and got her hand stuck in the easy bake oven trying to get the tiny pan out. I remember Aunt Tomi and mom yelling and running around panicking. They both werent sure how to get Jenna's hand unstuck and then Uncle Chris came home and unplugged the machine, and somehow with a fork pulled her hand out, and we all had a good laugh. Other memories of going to play in the school yard and having you watch over us or going to see the holiday lights together were such wonderful times. Aunt Tomi, you are so loved and missed.

Chris and your beautiful children..Our Hearts go out to the entire family. I have so many memories of being in Nanas' apartment on 61st and 18th or as Tomi / Val and Pamela called her Grandma Spudsy (I believe) throwing money down from the fire escape for us to bring ices up from the pizzeria right below us for all the Aunts , Uncles and Cousins
She will always be in my thoughts always smiling always lighting up a room. Words cannot express the sorrow we feel. Love you guys

When we first started having our children, I called Tomi and said I’m pregnant and she said “me too”. Greg and Nicole are 13 days apart. I called Tomi months later and said guess what I’m pregnant, and she said “me too”!!! Danielle, Kourtney and Katie are 3 months apart. I called Tomi and said I think you’re pregnant and she said “I don’t think so”, I said “well I am”, so I think you are too. Jenna and Michele are two months apart! After that Tomi said, please don’t call me and say “guess what”! We will miss you, you will always remain in our hearts. Mickey and Janice
