Obituary of Ryan Patrick Smith

Ryan Patrick Smith, age 42, of Brooklyn entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, May 6, 2020. Mr. Smith was born September 30, 1977 in Staten Island, New York. He is the son of the late John and the late Diane (Napilitano) Smith. Ryan had a deep love for the ocean and enjoyed spending time fishing. Beloved brother of Keith Smith and his wife, Christine. Dear love of Maggie Morris. Loving father of Meghan, Makayla and stepfather of Kaitlyn. Ryan will be missed by his aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May Ryan’s soul and all the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, Rest in Peace. Amen.

God Grant me that I may live to fish until my dying day and when it comes to my last task, I most humbly pray, that in the Lord’s safe handling net I’m peacefully asleep.  In His mercy that I be judged big enough to keep.

Burial will be in Green-Wood Cemetery, Brooklyn on Tuesday May 12, 2020.
