Obituary of Wildor Lazard
In Memory of Bishop Wildor Lazard
1940-2020
"…Well done my good and faithful servant…" Matthew 25:21
Bishop Wildor Lazard was born on August 29, 1940 to Rose Sylvestre and Destin Lazard. At an early age, he accepted his calling to preach the unadulterated gospel of Jesus Christ. His passion to be the best at his gift lead him to attend some of the best international seminaries abroad. Having served in ministry for over 50 years, he will surely be remembered for his heartfelt and powerful sermons. He will mostly be remembered for his unwavering love and compassion for all who were embraced by his brilliant smile and kind words. His passion for Christ was openly displayed in the way that he lived his life and in how he drew others to Christ. He is survived by his dedicated wife, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, a host of dearly loved family and friends and a devoted congregation. Bishop Lazard will be profoundly missed and deeply loved for years to come.
"And may the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus" Philippians 4:7
Weep not for me though I am gone into that gentle night.
Grieve if you will, but not for long upon my soul's sweet flight.
I am at peace, my souls at rest, there is no need for tears.
For with your love I was so blessed, for all those many years.
There is no pain, I suffer not, the fear now all is gone.
Put now these things out of your thoughts, in your memory I'll live on.
Remember not my fight for breath, remember not the strife.
Please do not dwell upon my death but celebrate my life.
